MADELINE BRENNAN

Madeline is a multifaceted artist with 9 years of experience across graphic design, illustration, animation, and art direction, strengthened further by her collegiate-level teaching. Beginning her career in 2D animation, she brings those foundational principles of emotion, silhouette, staging, and appeal into her 3D animation work, creating expressive performances in a two-dimensional space. She has collaborated with numerous artists as a 3D Character Animator and served as Animation Lead on animated short films: The How Book, The Last Dungeon, and Mistborn. She led another film with dual roles of Animation Lead and Art Director on the short film Three Raccoons in a Trench Coat.

Across her illustrations and designs, Madeline uses bright colors to emphasize people, relationships, and emotion, allowing viewers to quickly connect with her work. She begins with traditional pencil-and-paper sketches before moving into digital tools, grounding all her digital media, whether graphic design, illustration, or animation, in strong traditional technique.
